Having a designated spot for "school" has really helped in my effort to stay balanced. Fortunately, our home has a small office that we converted into our classroom. Even though we sometimes have "school" in the backyard or at the kitchen table, it's nice to have a place to house books, teaching materials, etc. This room also serves as my office where I spend quite a bit of time keeping our family organized, handling the finances, purchasing materials for school, selling items online. etc. I'll be going into more detail about those endeavors in some upcoming posts as they relate to finding balance and contributing to our family.
For today, I'm taking y'all on a little tour of our schoolroom...
Edy decided to use it as a monkey bar! It was terrible way to start our homeschooling adventure, but now I can look back on it and say we started with a BANG!
I love the shelf and its functionality. *I plan to go into more detail about organization in an upcoming post.
This little school room has really helped out our homeschooling endeavors. It's also contributed to keeping me...balanced.
