Five on Friday

I'm linking up with the gals for another Five on Friday...

JoJo loves the baby foods in a tube.  Those things are super convenient, but not cheap.  Convenient for the win!

She's so darn cute feeding herself!

Did you catch my second post in My Imperfect Home Tour series?  You can check out my big girls' room and the no carpentry cornice boards I made HERE.  Click HERE to view the entire tour so far.

I've been doing some spring cleaning and although I pride myself in getting rid of stuff,  I was appalled by all of the expired medicines and spices I'd stored up.  When I say expired, I mean like 2008 DayQuil and 2005 chicken bouillon cubes.  WOWZA!

Also...is it bad that 2005 doesn't seem like that old/long ago to me?

The calendar still says SPRING, but it's SUMMER here!!!

If you follow me on Instagram, I shared my quick and easy update to our entryway...

I added some stripes to one wall in a little over 2 hours.  What a nice improvement!!

If y'all didn't get to check out What You Wish Wednesday, click over and take a look at some of the inspiration linked-up.   I share a DO's and DON'Ts homeschooling list.

It's been fun to team up with Stasia, Nikki, and Melissa for this weekly link-up.  We'd love for you to join us every Wednesday. It's simple--link-up What You Wish!

Y'all have a wonderful weekend!

Your home is lovely! And yeah, I recently threw away some sunscreen that was 10 years old. Yikes. :)

  2. I love the stripe walls! Looks beautiful!

  3. Your home is gorgeous! I want food in a tube, how convenient would that be, haha ;). And lastly I recently went through our condiments in the fridge and was thoroughly grossed out for the rest of the day, eeekkk!!!!

  4. Girl, your entryway is DIVINE!!!!! EEEE! Obsessed.
Heading to your Imperfect Home Tour now...love it already and haven't even clicked. Imperfectly wonderful :)

  5. I had to laugh at number three. I cleaned the fridge out this week, and lets just say that I I filled up a trash can with expired salad dressing and various condiments. I was certain I had just done this, but I guess not.

  6. Wow, love the stripes--your entryway is gorgeous! It's summer in Kansas now too! :)

  7. Yes, it's summer here in NE La. too, but I hate to complain since we had such a bitter cold winter. :o)

Your entry way is just gorgeous with a capitol G! So welcoming!

Now, got to go read the 2nd home tour entry. I missed that while we were gone.

    Happy Lord's Day tomorrow!

  8. Absolutely love the stripes you added to the wall... Tons of character, but not over whelming at all!!

  9. girrrrrl I need to go through my spices too. I bet they are pretty bad! I love that striped wall I'm always afraid of doing stuff like that because of the paint bleeding or whatever. Love watching your family and girls....us Conway gals came a ways to get here to TX right! It's sorta growing on me ;-)

  10. I always do the same thing with my medicines! I never think to go through them and then all of a sudden I have stuff from 5+ years ago! Haha! :) Your stripes in the entry way are amazing! Did you just do it by taping it off?

  11. hey gal! i am contacting people that linked up in the last 5 on friday linkup...that has since been put on hold for the summer. well...if you were interested, a friend of mine and i are starting it back up! the first one will be live this friday morning! prepare your post! :) it's going to be called "oh hey, friday!" it'll be the exact same rules. write about five anythings. hope to see you there! karli from http://farmerbell.blogspot.com
